Healing Yourself Within – One Breathe At A Time
Breathing. Its absolutely vital to our survival, but we never actually take the time to think about its importance, and if we are breathing right. Its such a subconscious reflex, that many people have a hard time seeing the importance on focusing on breathing.
But it is very important.
If you don’t breathe properly you will be cutting off the life force to your body, oxygen. Your organs will suffocate and you will start working slower, and soon cease to function.
Take a deep breath and notice what you body does. Did your chest rise? Most people’s do, but unfortunately this is not the most optimal way to nourish your body. When you breathe you should use the diaphragm and engage all the lungs. Your abdomen should go out when you inhale and retract when you exhale, pushing all the air out of your lungs.
The more you practice this breathe daily, it will soon become second nature.
Another breathe technique is inhaling for 10 seconds, hold it in for 30 and exhaling for 5 seconds. The reason is that when we breathe, our lungs do not take in and absorbs all the oxygen. So keep the air in the lungs with deep breathe for longer helps combat this.
Just practice these breathing techniques a few times daily for new healthier you.
